Care & Materials

How to keep your engraved jewelry and embroidered keepsakes looking their best.

Engraved jewelry — care

  • 316L stainless steel is hypoallergenic, water-safe, and non-tarnishing.
  • For shine, wipe with a soft microfiber cloth; mild soap & water if needed, then dry well.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals (chlorine bleach, acetone) and abrasive cleaners.
  • Remove when using strong household cleaners or in hot tubs.

Embroidered keepsakes — care

  • Turn inside out before washing; cold water, gentle cycle.
  • Lay flat to dry (preferred) or tumble dry low; avoid high heat.
  • If ironing, use low heat on the reverse side with a pressing cloth.
  • Do not bleach. Avoid fabric softeners on first washes.

Materials & safety

  • 316L surgical-grade stainless steel — durable, hypoallergenic, water-safe.
  • Engraving is permanent; avoid deep scratches that could mark the finish.
  • Threads and backing for embroidery are chosen for comfort and longevity.

Sensitive skin? Stainless steel is a great daily-wear choice and won’t turn skin green.

Storage & cleaning

  • Store jewelry dry, ideally in a pouch or box to prevent scratches.
  • Wipe after wear to remove lotions, sunscreen, or saltwater residue.
  • Spot-clean embroidery with mild soap and water; avoid soaking localized stains.
