At Stitch a Story, every order is handmade with care and personalized just for you. All of our products are designed, prepped, customized, and fulfilled right here in the USA — ensuring top quality and heartfelt craftsmanship in every piece.

Processing Time

Because our items are personalized and made to order, please allow 5–7 business days for processing before your order is shipped. During this time, we:

  • Prepare and finalize your custom designs
  • Carefully assemble and embroider or engrave your pieces
  • Quality-check every item before packaging

Typical ranges by product type (for clarity):

  • Engraved jewelry: 2–5 business days
  • Embroidered keepsakes: 5–10 business days

Note: Production time is separate from shipping time. Orders placed during peak seasons or sales may require up to 10 business days for processing.

Shipping Methods & Delivery Estimates

We partner with reliable carriers like USPS, UPS, and FedEx to ensure smooth delivery. Delivery times begin after processing is complete.

  • Standard U.S. Shipping: 3–7 business days
  • Expedited U.S. Shipping: 2–3 business days

Estimated international transit times (after processing):

  • Canada / United Kingdom / Mexico / Switzerland: ~7–20 business days
  • South Africa / Argentina: ~10–25 business days

Transit times can vary by destination, carrier, and customs processing. Expedited options for international orders may be limited or unavailable depending on the route.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking info. You can use this to monitor your shipment’s progress directly through the carrier.

Delays & Issues

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Shipping carriers
  • Customs inspections (for international orders)
  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer

Shipping Fees

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location, selected shipping method, and order weight.
We occasionally offer free shipping promotions, which will be advertised on our website or social media pages.

International Orders (Duties, Taxes & Address Tips)

  • International orders may be subject to customs duties, VAT, or import taxes collected by your local customs or the carrier upon delivery. These fees are not included in your order total and are the buyer’s responsibility.
  • Please enter addresses in English characters and include a local phone number for delivery.
  • If a package is refused or returned due to unpaid duties/taxes or incorrect address, reshipment fees may apply.

Address Accuracy

Please double-check your shipping information at checkout. Orders returned due to incorrect or incomplete addresses will require reshipping at the customer’s expense.
